Everton are reportedly eyeing a transfer swoop for free-scoring SK Slavia Prague of Czech Republic winger Abdallah Sima. Senegalese player Abdallah Sima is seen by Everton as the heir to Theo Walcott. Abdallah Sima could replace Theo Walcott at Goodison Park if the Toffees decide to move for him this summer. Theo Walcott is an Everton loanee at Southampton for this season. The ex-Arsenal winger is back at boyhood team Southampton after joining them on loan at the start of the season. Theo Walcott is expected to stay at Southampton till the end of his loan deal this summer before the Saints swoop in on him permanently in the summer.
The interest of Everton in Slavia Prague winger Abdallah Sima was revealed by Football Insider. The 19-year-old has grown in leaps and bounds in the Slavia Prague first team since he was handed his debut in September by manager Jindrich Trpisovsky. Sima was initially signed for the youth teams at the Sinobo Stadium following his move to the club from FC MAS Taborsko in August. Under the watchful eyes of academy manager MarekJarolim, the young Senegalese player scored four goals in six games and has netted 15 goals in 22 games since he was given the opportunity in the Slavia Prague first team. His latest goal for Slavia Prague was against Leicester City in the Europa League. He was one of the goalscorers as Slavia Prague secured an impressive 2-0 away win at the home of Leicester City in the second leg of their last 32 tie. Slavia Prague were able to secure a 2-0 aggregate win to progress into the last 16 after the first leg ended in a goalless draw. Abdallah Sima is not only a target for Everton in the Premier League. Arsenal, Manchester United and West Ham United are also keen to sign him.
