Under the managing style of Steve Bruce, Hull City managed on making their highest league finish which was accomplished last season when they claimed the 16th spot of the Premier League, just barely being able to avoid the bottom relegation zone.
Steve Bruce wants to continue playing in the top tier English league which is why Hull City is being linked with a number of players that could be making their way to the club in this summer transfer window. Hull City has already secured the services of Jake Livermore and Robert Snodgrass but there are a few more players in the radar of the English coach.
The free agent Thomas Ince is expected to make his move to Hull City before the transfer window comes to an end while another player who is rumored to be inching his way closer to the team of Steve Bruce is Tottenham’s Michael Dawson although his arrival might come a bit more costly as Hull City will have to pay around €3 million in order to lure Dawson away from White Hart Lane and into the home ground of Hull City at the KC Stadium.
If Hull City does opt to go with Dawson and sign him at his price then the club will be reaching the €20 million mark in this transfer window taking into consideration that the combined total of bringing Jake Livermore and Robert Snodgrass was around €14 million but it’s an appropriate price for players that were at the top of Steve Bruce’s wish-list.
More reinforcements could be making their way into the club in the next few weeks as Steve Bruce wants to strengthen the squad as much as possible before the start of next season when the domestic schedule of Hull City kicks off and they have to prepare themselves for their upcoming Europa League campaign.
